Keri Massey-Shands is a native of Spartanburg, SC. She is a Staff Sergeant, currently severing in the Air Force Reserves She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Winthrop University. She is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health, focusing on Community Health Practice at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Keri has dedicated her life to serving the needs of others. She hopes to use her leadership skills and knowledge about physical activity and nutrition to spark a change within the African American community. She aims to reduce health disparities and overall attitudes about leading healthy lifestyles within her community as well as other minority groups.
