Chapter 33

Rate of pursuit (enrollment status) is calculated by dividing the credit hours being pursued by the number of credits considered full time (12 credits for undergraduates; 9 credits for graduates). To receive even a portion of the housing allowance during Spring and Fall, undergrads must be in at least 7 credits, while graduates must be in at least 5.

Summer works a bit differently. Graduates must be in at least 3 credits during any summer session to be considered full-time. For undergrads, the breakdown for 5 week sessions is (just double each for the 10 week summer term):

4 credits: 100%

3 credits: 90%

2 credits: 60%

1 credit: No housing allowance
